"SNOOPY
INSTRUCTIONS"
These photos
and instructions will show how to make your model of the Snoopy F/C
using a Model King "Kenz & Leslie Cougar" F/C for a donor kit.
Although, you will need to replace the Cougar motor with a HEMI.
We added Different mpc frame rails in resin, the Kenz & Leslie F/C frame
is too short.
First, you'll need to shorten
the Cougar F/C kit rear axle's, so the slicks you use, will fit the inside of
the body.
The correct Slicks we used are Speed City's GOODYEAR Rubber Slicks #SC-43 (found
on the parts page).
You will need to do these alterations to the rear suspension
!
The Kenz & Leslie Cougar F/C kit parts are shown on the left.
On the right shows how you'll need to alter the kit parts !
Heres how your chassis should look after using the altered
kit parts.
The firewall / Cowl should be glued in the body, the Interior
Floor gets glued to the Frame.
Add this Front Frame Rail with Spring Perch to your chassis ( White part in
photo ).
Correct Tube Axle with Buggy Spring !
This is how the 2-pieces will look when attached to your model.
The Sway bar ( part #15 ) will need to be installed behind the axle.
The Cougar F/C Tie Rod will need to be shortened and the Steering Rod will need
to be lengthened.
Will be creating "SNOOPY"
decals for this soon !
